FAQs

We have compiled a list of questions based on the questions we think you may want answered and what has been asked already.

We will keep updating this as more things come up, so if you’ve got a question that hasn’t been answered yet do have a look here first, otherwise you can send us a question using the form below:

1. When should I arrive?

The ceremony is planned to start at 1.30pm and we invite guests to arrive from 1pm onwards.

2. I am lost or running late - what do I do?

If you are running late on the day or are struggling to find the venue, please contact Emma (on of the bridesmaids) on 07540 746884 and she will be able to advise you.

3. How do I get to the venue?

You can drive or arrange a taxi to the venue - please see here for more details.

If you are driving please note that there is only space for 40 cars, so please try and share where possible. If you would like to leave your car overnight this would need to be collected by 10am the following morning.

We are also looking to arrange transport for guests staying locally, but this will be dependent on guest numbers and interest, so please let us know if you are interested in this when you rsvp.

4. What does a formal dress code mean?

We would like everyone to feel free to dress up as much as you like, however we don’t expect full length gowns (although you are very welcome to wear these if you wish!) and we ask for lounge suits for men.

5. Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

We are hoping for an outdoors ceremony, but this will obviously be dependent on the weather - please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly (but don’t worry, we do have an indoors option in case of rain!).

6. What food will be served?

We are still finalising the menu for the wedding breakfast and will send out the details once this is confirmed. Please let us know any allergies or dietary requirements/preferences when you rsvp.

7. Will there be food in the evening?

Yes, we will be providing evening food, as well as cake, after the first dance to all guests.

8. What do you mean by a consumable gift or an experience?

The best gift to us is something that will bring us happy memories, and ideally something that we can enjoy with you as well. This could be some food or drink items to share with you at home, cook-at-home meal kits, restaurant vouchers, you taking us out for a drink or a meal, or any other experiences or activities you can think of - feel free to get creative!
